Specific Objectives

1. Give and invited co-authored paper presentation at a regional conference of North Central - Association of Science Teacher Education (NC-ASTE).

2.  Collaborate with a colleague on a research paper for publication.

3.  Apply for a National Science Foundation grand to study Racially Conscious Science Teaching.

Method of Assessment

1.  Completed applicaton to present a regional conference of NC-ASTE.

2.  Apply for IRB, complete literature review, conduct the research and write results.

3.  Completed grant application to the National Science Foundation.

Expected Achievement

1.  A presentation of a co-authored paper at the regional conference of NC-ASTE.

2.  Submit a co-authored paper for publication In a peer reviewed journal.

3.  Submitted application and response form the National Science Foundation.
