Five Year Review from the Minnesota Board of School Administrators (BOSA)
After a year of preparation, the Department's Specialist program which confers an Educational Specialist degree as it trains and recommends licensure for Directors of Community Education, K-12 Principals, Directors of Special Education, and PK-12 Superintendents underwent a site review by BOSA to maintain our accreditation. The results were overwhelmingly positive! We were able to not only meet the requirements, but showcased the wonderful work we do in educating racially conscious leaders. |

Chair, Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Board
Since 2019, I have had the privilege of working with others to create tangible tools to incorporate racial equity in curriculum and instruction in the College of Education. We also are creating an "Equity-at-a-glance" template for designing coursework and instruction. |
