1. Work with the Leadership of Owatonna Public Schools on a year-long Racial Equity Professional Development.
2. Serve as chair of the Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Board.
3. Launch the Institute for Courageous Teacher Leadership.
4. Lead in the planning, preparation, and execution of the 2019 Equity Conference.
5. Continue to serve on the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development Dean’s Advisory Board.
Method of Assessment
1. Formal and informal feedback from the Superintendent of Owatonna Public Schools as to the effectiveness of the racial equity professional development.
2. Formal and informal assessments of the overall work accomplished by the CIAB 3. Formal and informal assessments of the participants’ overall equity development due to the Institute.
4. Documentation of activities, agenda items, evaluations, etc.
5. A renewal of my service to the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development Dean’s Advisory Board.
Expected Achievement
1. Successful completion of racial equity professional development with the Owatonna Public School district’s leadership.

3. A successful Teacher Institute as evidenced by participant and presenter evaluations and comments.
4. A successful Equity Conference as evidenced by participant and presenter evaluations and comments.
