SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: 1. Partner with public school districts to provide racial equity professional development for leadership and staff.
2. Lead and facilitate continuing cohorts of the Institute for Courageous Teacher Leadership.
3. Continue as a member of Leadership Council by serving as chair of the College of Education Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Board (CIAB).
4. Lead in the planning, preparation, and execution of the 2022 Equity Conference which will most likely be entirely on Zoom.
METHOD OF ASSESSMENT: 1. Formal and informal feedback from the leadership of public school districts as to the effectiveness of the racial equity professional development.
2. Formal and informal assessments of the participants’ overall equity development due to the institute.
3. Documentation of activities, agenda items, evaluations, etc.
4. Frequent assessments of the work stream as to completion of tasks and conversion from an in person to a distance conference.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENT: 1. Successful completion of racial equity professional development with district schools. Participants who are more able to see and apply work through a lens of racial equity.
2. Successful Institutes for Courageous Teacher Leadership as evidenced by survey results.
3. Growth in membership and focus of Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Board’s work
