I attended several Learning Exchanges with a national cohort of school administrators through Project I4, through the College of Education of East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

I took advantage of the many resources provided by the University to enhance my knowledge and grow my skills in research, leadership, and technology. With this new learning, I was able to produce the 8th Annual Leading Courageously for Racial Equity Conference as a webinar, conduct a research using Qualtrics, and participate in a New Chairs Certificate program aimed at to growing my skills as a department chair.

By reading several books and listening to a variety of podcasts, I expanded my knowledge and practice surrounding racial equity. I used this information and new learning to craft experiences that will promote active engagement of adult learners.
